Official Project CAD Package

The official CAD software of ondroid is FreeCAD.

FreeCAD, despite being the official software, is by defualt by licensing requirements only. It enables opening and management of STP files. Direct modeling is encouraged using your paid for CAD software of choice.

Parametric modeling is allowed, but the information is not translatable via STP using ISO standards.

Assemblies

Assembly owners are responsible for managing part PRs and placement recommended by the engineers designing parts.

Part Placement

Parts can be drawn in any orientation. Their position is controlled at the assembly they reside in.
